SUPER VISA
Many immigrants now living as citizens or permanent residents in Canada, have family living separately in countries far away, and many wish to finally bring their parents or grandparents to live with them in Canada comfortably.

Basically a Super visa is a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) which is created to help you to bring your parent and grandparents to live with in Canada for up to two years at a time.
Just like a visitor visa one can apply for a Super Visa by submitting a paper based application online.
Furthermore you must keep the following in mind while filling for a Super Visa:-
- Ones application for a super visa must comprise of a letter of invitation from their child or grandchild, covering the plants for their care and the information about the number of people living their child’s or grandchild’s house in Canada.
- Evidence proving that you are indeed the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
- Furthermore, you are also obligated to show that you have private health insurance from a Canadian insurance company valid for at least one year.
- your child or grandchild has to prove that they have enough funds to support you during your visit by meeting the Low Income Cut-off (LICO) minimum for their family unit size.
- Lastly, in order to apply for a super visa an applicant needs a minimum of $100,000 medical coverage by a Canadian company and also a sponsor has to meet the minimum income requirement in order to be eligible.
